Being able to use your epilator without having to worry about being tangled in a length of wire or trying to make that one meter of cord reach the top of your leg takes some of the strain and frustration out of epilating. Also being able to use this particular epilator in the bath or shower really does give it a big advantage over other similar epilators. That is probably why 123 people, on Amazons review system, have given this epilator an impressive five out of five stars.
The Braun 7681 takes approximately 1 hour to fully charge, This will give an epilation time of about forty minutes. Unlike other cheaper rechargeable epilators the Braun can hold a steady charge and will not start to loose power after only a couple of minutes. Being cordless gives you much more freedom to choose where and when you want to epilate. For example being able to epilate in the bath or shower can make epilating far more comfortable. Due to the fact that this epilator can be used in the bath or shower it cannot be used while it is being charged.
More tweezers the better?
The main epilating head of the Braun 7681 contains 40-tweezers that are designed to grab and extract hairs similar in size to those of a grain of sand. That is about, according to Braun, one days growth. There are other epilators on the market that contain more tweezers but more does not always mean better. It is how well those tweezers grab hold and remove your hair that really counts. This is where Braun shines. SmartLight.
This is not intended to be used in the place of a torch or for those who are so embarrassed by their hairy legs they only bring themselves to epilate in a dark room. The SmartLight incorporated in the Braun Pro 7681 helps to highlight those numerous small fine hairs that are far too easy to overlook while epilating. This light really does work and is a valuable addition to this epilator, saving you the time and trouble of having to re-epilate those missed hairs.
Speed things up.
The Braun 7681 has two comfort settings fast and soft. This is really just a fancy way of saying it has two speed settings of fast and slow. That’s not to say they serve no purpose. They can be very useful, for example, the slow speed can be used by those just starting to epilate for the first time and would like to take it nice and steady or for when you epilate the more delicate areas on your body such as the underarms and bikini area. You can use the faster setting for large areas like the legs and arms.
Wet and dry epilator
Like some of their previous models the the Braun 7681 can be used in the bath or shower. If you have never tried epilating in this way then, provided you have this model of wet and dry epilator or your current epilator is designed to be used in water, it may be worth giving this a go. Apparently, in an independent research, 63% of people said epilating in the bath or shower helped reduce discomfort. Epilating in warm water may also help those with more sensitive skin, who perhaps cannot use wax or previously have tried using an epilator on dry skin and were unable to do so.
No pain no gain?
We all know that using an epilator or having your hair waxed involves a certain amount of pain. Unless you are a masochist, the less pain we have to suffer in the pursuit of smoothness, in my mind, the better. To this end the Braun 7681 incorporates massaging rollers into the epilating head. These help to stimulate the skins surface while you epilate. Do they work? Well here’s a quote from one happy customer:

Well, it looks like someone found it useful. Combine this massaging head with epilating in warm water and, although you will never take the discomfort out of epilating, this clever combination may go some way to helping.
