Braun Who produce some of the best selling epilators on the market have teemed up with Gillette the makers of Venus razors. They have combined their expertise to produce the Silk-epil 7 Dual epilator. This is an epilator and razor merged into one unit that can help give smooth skin that will remain hair free for weeks

The clever part of this new epilator is combining the Venus razor into the head. Although epilators do a great job art removing your hair there are always some hairs that are left behind. Within a few days these stubborn hairs start to re-grow ruining that smooth look and forcing to epilate far sooner than you would like. When you use  the Braun Dual any hairs the epilator may have missed are removed by the built in razor that will also help to remove dead skin. You repeat this process weekly for four weeks and you will notice just how smooth your skin will become. Eventually the hairs regrowth will be a lot slower and finer. You will then only have to epilate when you feel it necessary.

The four models in the  Braun Dual epilators range are virtually the same. The different model numbers represent what accessories you get with each epilator. At the bottom of this page I have made a chart to make more clear what you get with each model.

Braun dual epilator with integrated razor head

The new integrated epilator and razor head combining Brauns close-grip technology and Gillettes Venus blades removes more hair in a single stroke giving you longer lasting smoother hair free skin than ever before. The built in blades help to remove dead skin cells and also eliminating stray hairs that otherwise may be left behind. This will leave you skin much smoother and ultimately mean only having to epilate far less often.

 

40 tweezers set at a precise angle on a fast rotating cylinder are able to grab hair as small as 0.5m that’s about the size of a grain of sand.

 

 

 

Designed to be used on wet or dry skin you have the option to epilate while soaking in a nice hot bath or under a warm running shower. Epilating in this way can help reduce discomfort and can be kinder on your skin.

Braun Dual epilator pivoting head

Three models in the Braun dual range have a pivoting head. By being able to pivot at up to 15 degrees it  can follow the contours of your body helping it to reach and grab hairs that other epilators may trouble removing.

All four models in the Braun Dual 7 range are rechargeable epilators. They take about one hour to fully charge, giving you a running time of half an hour. These epilators cannot be used while  in a charging state.

Hygiene is important especially  if you suffer from sensitive skin or spots. Being able to be fully submerssed in water these epilators are easy to keep clean. Just wash them under running water, you could use some antiseptic  liquid soap, and leave to dry.

 

Incorporated into the head of this epilator are what Braun call SoftLift Tips. These are little nodules that help to lift flat-lying hairs and guide them into the path of the tweezers. With the razor following close behind the epilating head and the SoftLift  Tips lifting and guiding the hairs into the path of the tweezers, very fewer hairs will be missed  giving you a cleaner smother finish.
